Poland has been left off Starlink’s list of countries in its shared European travel region, a change flagged by users and confirmed by satellite internet trackers, though the service remains fully operational within Poland itself.
Starlink Excludes Poland From Europe
Poland was not included on the list of countries forming Starlink’s joint European region under its “Roam” travel packages, according to a report from TVN24. A Reddit user first drew attention to the omission, asking why the country had been left out of a region that Starlink treats as a single zone for select roaming plans. The gap was later confirmed independently by the tracking websites RV Mobile Internet and SeaBits, which analyzed changes SpaceX made to its policies in July.
The list of included countries features several of Poland’s immediate neighbors, among them Germany, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Lithuania, along with most European Union member states. Several smaller territories also made the cut, including the Aland Islands, Guernsey, the Isle of Man, Jersey, and Svalbard and Jan Mayen. Poland’s absence from that grouping stands out given its size and its extensive Starlink user base.

Timeline of the Policy Change
The information about Poland’s exclusion appeared within an update section on Starlink’s website describing new account rules. New customers have been subject to the change since July 14, 2026, while existing customers will see the new terms take effect on August 17, 2026.
Under current Starlink rules, the Roam packages, offered in 50 GB, 100 GB and 300 GB tiers, are meant to work either in a subscriber’s registered country or anywhere within that country’s connected region. However, Starlink’s official guidance for Poland states that its 100 GB package functions only domestically and does not extend to use abroad, a stricter limitation than what applies to users registered in countries still grouped into the European region.
What This Means for Users
The change does not amount to Starlink pulling out of the Polish market, and the company continues to offer both home internet service and Roam packages within the country. The restriction applies specifically to Poland’s status within the shared European travel zone, not to the availability of the service itself.
Subscribers on the unlimited “Roam” plan can still use the internet outside Poland, but only for up to 30 days per trip. After that period, users must either return to Poland, transfer their account, or upgrade to one of the more expensive Priority plans to maintain international access. Starlink has not offered an explanation for why Poland was excluded from the European grouping, leaving the reasoning behind the decision unclear
