Six million Ukrainians travel to Poland in past six months

Since the full-blown Russian invasion of Ukraine Polish border forces recorded 6 million journeys from Ukraine to Poland.

On Saturday, Polish Border Guard released an update on the number of crossings from Ukraine to Poland:

“Since 24 of February, Polish border guards cleared 6 million people at entry points to Poland.” – the force Tweeted.

” Only yesterday (02.09.22) – 22,2k, today until 7 am – 7,3k people” – the statement reads.

According to the force, there were 4.2 million journeys recorded in the opposite direction, from Poland to Ukraine.
