Polish Border Guards have detained a 41-year-old Russian soldier after he crossed the Belarusian border into Poland in an apparent attempt to defect from Vladimir Putin’s army. The soldier is suspected of utilizing the migration route organized by the regime of Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko, which is used primarily by migrants from the Middle East, North Africa, and Central Asia.
