The latest IBRiS survey for the polish daily “Rzeczpospolita” reveals that if the elections were held today, Law and Justice, along with the parties forming the United Right coalition, could count on the support of 33.4% of voters.
The Civic Coalition (centrist party, tilting towards the left) would achieve the second result with a support level of 26.2%.
The Confederation (far right, eurosceptics, self-proclaimed free-market party) would obtain the third place, potentially garnering the support of 12.2% of respondents.
The Third Way, a coalition of parties consisting of the agrarian, popular amongst the farmers and rural voters Polish People Party (PSL), and center-right party of a former TV personality, Szymon Holownia’s Poland2050, would secure 10.8% support in the Sejm.
Social Democrats under the Left umbrella would receive 10.7% support.
Consequently, the combined result of the Civic Coalition, the Third Way, and the Left would amount to 47.7% and therefore would not achieve a majority in the Sejm.
