A bomb alert on board a Ryanair flight from Poland to Greece, the AFP agency reported on Sunday afternoon. Greek warplanes were scrambled to escort the plane with more than 190 people on board after a bomb alert was reported, an agency’s source in the Ministry of Defense said.
The plane has now landed and is under inspection – according to AFP.
UPDATE: After inspection, the alarm has been deemed false. All passengers safely left the plane and no bomb was found.
